Every building has its own construction and within, its own important core. ‘Not reaching the core immediately’ is the intention of this design. The core is protected by layers which you have to break through; that way, arriving in the personal space is put off.

The existing façade of the house is combined with the new interior.
Between the façades there are different volumes. Each volume has their own function and is distinguished by material and openness. 
The purpose of the house is to bring the inhabitant back in balance and allow them to be themselves. The volumes are placed at one side of the house, creating an in-between space. This is to subtract people from the busy world.
